Kat Hughes is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of New York University. She has worked with students in New York, Ecuador and Los Angeles teaching everything from playwriting to SAT. Kat has been teaching ISEE for four years and enjoys learning each student's learning style in order to make the test most accessible to them. Her speciality is the Math Achievement and Quantitative reasoning sections of the test. Kat is also a volunteer tutor working with homeless youth for a great organization called School On Wheels.
A native Jersey girl, Daralina discovered her passion for teaching after studying history at the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Social Science Education at Columbia University. Daralina has been teaching and tutoring ISEE strategies for the past five years, and she has prepared hundreds of students for the exam. Daralina is also a professional ballroom dancer with over fifteen years of musical theater, film and television experience, but most of all, she is a passionate teacher and mentor whose fundamental goal is to genuinely connect with people and help them grow. In her free time, Daralina loves dancing, surfing, horseback riding, and hiking with her dog Bella.
